Violet-green Swallow (Tachycineta thalassina)Nest: Egg Hatching, Hatchlings and Nestlings

The Violet-green Swallow eggs hatched on June 13, 2001. You can see here that the male is helping the female feed the hatchlings.
The four nestlings fledged the nestbox on July 5, 2001 early in the morning. The parents are continuing to feed them while they are high
up in the pine trees on the reserve.
