Viewer Information

This camera is located on the Trailfinders Lodge building, and provides a wide angle of all the feeders and the surrounding area.

 

The image is being captured by a IQEye 1.3 Megapixel Network Camera.

 

Viewers are likely to see many of our resident birds and may see other animals on the ground such as the California Ground Squirrel, Western Gray Squirrel, Botta’s Pocket Gopher, Coyote, Bobcat, Mule Deer, Gopher Snake and Western Rattlesnake.

 

Resident birds can be the American Crow, American Robin, Band-tailed Pigeon, Common Raven, Dark-eyed Junco, Mountain Chickadee, Mourning Dove, Pygmy and White-breasted Nuthatch, Purple and House Finch, Northern Flicker, Stellar’s Jay and White-headed and Acorn Woodpecker. You may also see some of the less common feeder station birds, seasonal or migratory birds such as the Black-headed Grosbeak, Brown-headed Cowbird, European Starling, Lesser and Lawrence’s Goldfinch, Mountain Quail, Oak Titmouse, Pine Siskin, Scrub Jay, Spotted Towhee, Western Tanager and White-crowned and Golden-crowned Sparrow.
